One paper out of place holds a container
Customs does not warn you first: the cargo stops and the cost starts running in storage and demurrage. Almost always over an incomplete document or a misclassified line.
So compliance happens during the operation and not as a later review: the paperwork is built while the shipment sails, not once it has arrived.
Document automation is being built and we do not talk about it as if it were running. Today the document view answers on demonstration data.

We build the file in transit
While the shipment sails, the documentation is made ready. The cargo does not wait on paper.
We clear and release
Filing before customs and follow-up of the procedure through to collection, with the status in view.
